If you’re accessing Breakout using your Kraken login for the first time, this article covers how to avoid common issues.
Important: US users located in New York or Maine are not eligible to authenticate with or sign up for Kraken at this time. If you’re based in either of these states, please continue using Breakout without the Kraken login option.
To link your Kraken account to your existing Breakout profile using the Continue with Kraken login feature, the email on your Kraken account must match the one you originally used to sign up for Breakout.
If your Kraken account uses a different email, you can either update your Kraken email in Settings or create a new Kraken account specifically for Breakout.
If you’re creating a Kraken account for the first time during this process, you’ll be prompted by Kraken to verify your identity after confirming your email. You can dismiss this prompt. Identity verification is not required to link your account to Breakout.
